CERIS is an online, web-based, hosted solution that enables financial institutions to effectively manage, track,
and report loan collateral technical exceptions and document
expirations.
Through an easy-to-use, browser based
interface, the CERIS software provides a standard, consistent method for loan and deposit document exception tracking
throughout the organization. Proper documentation is critical to a financial institution not only from a regulatory standpoint, but also from a bottom-line standpoint. CERIS will help the institution reduce the number of loan exceptions and improve the bottom-line by minimizing the risk of loss from bad loans due to inadequate loan documentation. Because of the powerful simplicity of CERIS contributing to improved speed and accuracy of exception tracking, the institution will easily be able to increase its loan volume without the need to add staff. A Different Approach As a hosted solution, CERIS replaces many of the traditional ways loan exceptions are tracked (i.e. note pad, spreadsheet, local client-server software, etc.). CERIS is provided as a service through the Internet and is accessed through the end-users web browser. The CERIS application as well as all of the data maintained by the CERIS system is centrally located in the ACCi datacenter. The data is securely encrypted and transmitted over the Internet using the Internet standard for secure transmission – 128 bit secure sockets layer (SSL) technology. CERIS can function independently or it can integrate with the institution’s platform system loan data through a nightly update process, thereby eliminating the need for duplicate data entry. |
